We were delighted to take part in our first Actorfest this year.
On November 14, the Acting Center team set up shop at Actorfest 2009.
We met hundreds of motivated actors and many performers new to the Los Angeles area. In fact, over 400 people asked to join our mailing list!
Students like Deanna Meske, Sissi Kal (all the way from Las Vegas!), Marcus Coloma, and David O’Donnell came by to say hi and alumni Jason Dohring stopped to visit and speak to a couple of fans. We had a great time meeting everyone and seeing all of the excellent resources that our city has to offer the arts.
There were almost 30 casting directors that actors could directly submit themselves to at this convention and even opportunities to meet with them, in some cases. We hope the event helped everyone get ready for pilot season next month.
