Los Angeles photographer captures Hollywood actors in the act.

Inspired by Showtime’s hit “Homeland,” with its evidence boards and memorable characters, Los Angeles based photographer Ray Kachatorian got the germ of an idea for a photography exhibit. It was then he needed to cast a group of versatile actors to realize his vision. He turned to The Acting Center, Hollywood’s premiere acting school, where character is the order of the day.

Over a twelve month period, Kachatorian photographed more than 60 performers, including award winning film and television actors. The result is “Captured—Students and Friends of The Acting Center Photographed in Character by Ray Kachatorian” —a unique and enthralling exhibit of character studies. The exhibit was on display at both The Arclight Hollywood (January 9-March 5, 2013) and The Arclight Sherman Oaks (January 29-March 26, 2013).
