This is not a Zoom meeting disguised as an acting class. It’s active, on-your-feet work—designed to keep you engaged, present, and fully involved every session.
At The Acting Center, everything begins with you. Our online classes are no exception. Each class is built to support your artistic growth and help you create work that feels alive, truthful and compelling—using the screen as a tool.
Our online students come from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and beyond. Whether you’re in Los Angeles or London, you’ll collaborate with talented actors from around the world in every session. We have both evening and daytime classes to accommodate different time zones. Evening classes 6-8p PST. Daytime classes 11a-1p PST.
This isn’t about adapting acting to fit an online format. It’s about creating a meaningful acting experience—wherever you are.
What we teach online
The Acting Center offers a brand-new, clear, structured approach to mastering acting. Whether you’re a seasoned actor or just beginning, it is a practical path forward to learning and mastering the essential principles of acting. With every online class, your work becomes more grounded, surprising, and engaging.
You will learn by doing. You’ll collaborate on scripted and unscripted material alongside actors from around the world, and build the skills needed to grow with confidence in a professional setting.
With this disciplined practice, you will remain authentic and connected, and your performances will become more specific and distinctive.
Our supportive, non-trauma-based, non-guru-driven, and active approach is a new experience actors find inspiring and freeing.
How we teach online
We’ve discovered that the best way to stop overthinking is to start acting. So in this class, you put theory immediately into action. You’ll learn to create characters that are emotionally resonant, deeply connected, and increasingly free with new and essential tools you can apply to any performance, any time.
You won’t sit through critiques that trigger self-doubt or listen to a teacher’s subjective opinions. And you won’t sit and watch scene after scene. In this online class, you spend your time actively acting.
You’ll explore and expand your skills and artistic instincts in a supportive, focused environment resulting in steady meaningful growth.
Online Scene Study: $300/month (8 classes, 2 hours each, 16 hours total). Ask about preferred tuition rates for ongoing training.
