Shady palms is the newest project collaboratively developed by the members of the Performance lab.
This new stageplay centers around The Shady Palms Homeowners Association, which meets to tackle the problem of a prowler going through their bins. But when the new security measures shine a light on their darkest secrets, the warring residents must learn to embrace their differences, love their neighbours and admit that garden gnomes are no substitute for real community.
THE PERFORMANCE LAB is an incubator for new and experimental theater, plays, film and television created by its members. This year’s Lab was helmed by writer-in-residence, Anna Southgate. an award-winning Writer-Director who has worked with BAFTA and Oscar-winning talent, we are proud to have her developing, writing and directing this new stage play with her fellow members of The Performance lab.
